Thats why NHRA drags and some mud tracks make you wrap the trans with a kevlar blanket wrap or a blow sheild plate 3/8 thick . i googled kevlar wrap and seen a mopar with a hole in the passangers door you could put your fist through. Thats how people loose limbs.

Yeah I used to work with a guy who didnt have a knee-cap. One of the ears on the converter came off during a burnout and ripped off his knee-cap. Crazy stuff!

Yep, Autos get trans blanket, Manuals get scatter shields and must be an NHRA bell housing, and along with driveshaft safety loops.
