A 700r4, lol, I bought a 88 k1500 today because it’s got a “good” 700r4 in it but the accessory bracket on the front broke the two bolts at the power steering pump. I wrapped rope around the crank and water pump and drove it around the yard in 4L to see if 4x4 worked, that’s where I got the idea for 4L to see if trans would shift(the k1500 shifted to second in 4L incase you were curious 4x4 didn’t seem to work) but it’s got 206k miles so it probably won’t last forever. I just want this thing driving, I got reducers today to put some exhaust on it and I’m ready to start daily driving I just need it to shift. After adding the fluid esrlier and letting it idle it seemed overfull, afyer driving down the road it was back down. Somehow during just sitting there the fluid goes up, driving it fluid goes down?
