Of personal vehicles I've owned, the original owners kept the window stickers from only two of them. My '91 S10 had it in the glove box, but when the truck was stolen and recovered, one of the things that was stolen was the window sticker. My '00 van had it in the glove box too, which I found to be very odd. The original owner was Peebles, then a private school, then me. The two previous owners were not "car" people.

I'm not obsessing over this (!) - but here is the resolution on the window sticker discrepancies:

It's a repop. I contacted my favorite window sticker guy to ask his opinion and he admitted it was his work and that it was a mistake. He was in a hurry, etc. and said there were a few discrepancies. He added if the new owner contacts him he will get those fixed.

He also said the truck itself is legit and that he has the GM Heritage Center invoice for it and everything checks out.

Crazy! What a coincidence. So your window sticker guy is technically an accessory after the fact?
