I ordered 16x 10 with a -34 offset.
Hoping that wont rub

I had to run that thru an online calculator as offset doesn't mean a whole lot to me.

-34 offset on a 10" wheel is 4.16" of backspace.

I had some 16x8 wheels with 4.25" backspace (-6 offset) when I ran my 315s. Your wheels will make the tire stick out 1.1" farther than mine did then.

I now have 9" wide wheels with -38 offset (3.5" backspace). Your wheels will stick out 0.34" farther than my new wheels...

My wheels/tires stick out a bit. A lot late that- I did it on purpose so I don't drag my doors along ditches when I slide sideways into them.

is this a K10?
Yes a K10
Another question did you have to re-gear?
re-gearing is totally dependent on HP/TQ of the motor. It is a good idea to gear down with larger tires to prevent the motor for working so hard. I geared my truck with 4:56s, the truck from factory had 3.08’s. So it would’ve been a total slug with 35s and a gutless 305. I now have a stout 350 in the truck and combined with the heating and tire size it should drive like “stock” gearing and tire size…….make sense?

Similar boat here, but I'm a lot farther from actually spending money on my truck so I haven't posted much on it. Something I wish was common information is some kind of consistent measurement for lifts. i.e., what is the distance between the axle centerline and the beltline of the truck (since fender lips are often modified, intentionally or not). I feel like my saggy K20 suburban still sits higher than a K10, but if I bought 2" "lift" springs, would that just put me back to stock height, maybe with a softer spring? Or would I actually be 2" higher?

If I knew the centerline to belt line measurement of the new springs, I could clearly see what that would be compared to my existing. I suppose it would need to be measured under normal load (i.e. long bed small block without AC), and you would make tweaks based on your own truck compared to baseline, but that would be a lot less guessing than the current system of scouring the lift threads looking for someone who has done exactly the same thing.
Or am I just a little dense and making it too complicated?

Have any more pictures? How far out from the fender do the tires extend?
