I gotcha man I wondered after I typed if that's what you meant, and I would have to agree fully, a solid flat tappet cam requires frequent adjustments to avoid lifter pecking noise. hyd. flat tappet does not. solid rollers I'm not sure if those require a lot of adjustmens or not. I know hyd roller won't, but personally never had any roller myself.

For a DD I would avoid any solid lifter cams. I myself preffer hydrolic lifters, much more hassle free.
