They claimed to not have done many, I don’t know how to tell what has or hasn’t been done but I’ve got the vss installed but it wouldn’t really put out anything unless I’m moving? I couldn’t tell a difference in before or after installing the vss other than I need a longer speedo cable or reroute mine

I used hp tuners PC software for my swap,5.3 lm7 P59pcm. It's the only tuning solution I've ever used so i can't compare it to any other's. but i know if i where having your problems i would use a scan tool (in my case HP tuners) and bring up any relevant data pids to see exactly what's going in real time. Probably figure it out in minutes once you see what the pcm sees. Traction control maby?

Is there a cheaper alternative? I don’t really have a will to spend several hundred dollars to see what’s going on, after it’s all good and well I’ll never use the tool and usually I’m all for new toys

Code reader for a PCM controlled vehicle is about as important of a tool as a set of wrenches

Would that you think make the truck always think it’s in park or neutral though and make the rev limit really low? I don’t plan on revving it really high I just need it drivable
The 0411 has a P/N rev limit and a normal mode rev limit. If your tuner didn't change the P/N rev limit and the ECU thinks you are in P/N, then yes.

This is what I have. This will let you do anything you could ever want on an 0411 including whole OS read/write, segment swap, datalog, etc... using TunerPro RT, Universal Patcher, LsDroid, or PCM Hammer/logger. Thats all free software once you have the tool.

I also have HP Tuners, because the free ware can't tune my newer 2011 and it needed it badly after a regear and future turbo and/or engine swaps. HP tuners is much more user friendly, but WAY more expensive that the freeware option.

Which model do you have? Mines a little red handheld thing and it doesn’t do anything other than read codes

Also, you need to quit looking at 20 different things other than the problem that is slapping you in the face. You have a coil open/short code. That power and ground to the coil also feeds your TPS, MAP, IAT, and MAF sensors so a short or open in those circuits could be throwing the whole thing out of whack. Every time you start a thread on here you end up going 30 pages in without ever actually looking at the problem because you go in 40 different directions and get distracted. You have a wiring problem. Full stop.

Do not look at anything else until you find the wiring problem. It should take 20 minutes with a multimeter. Here's a decent simple walkthrough of testing the circuit at the problem coil. If everything checks out at the connector(Power, Ground, ECU signal), then you have a bad coil. Depending on how the coil went bad, it could take out multiple other things on the same circuit.

You need to start replying to a post or @ the persons name you are talking too. I often end up losing track of your threads because you don't actually reply or tag me when you are asking or replying to someone and I never get a notification. Next thing I know the thread is 10 pages longer than the last time I responded and I have no idea what is going on.

It did return that day but the truck currently has no codes showing
Edit: actually I fixed a ground from the block to the battery and that’s what resolved my po354. My main ground wasn’t right.
