I went the donor route. 2004 Escalade with LQ9 6.0 and 4L65e AWD.
I took everything I could. Fans, radiator (with built in engine and trans cooler), overflow bottle, power steering cooler, ECU, fuse blocks, DBW pedal...
I was also able to hear it run and drive it before I bought.
Also went with an Escalade so it would bolt directly to my np241 transfer case and could reuse both driveshafts.
Parts add up quickly on these swaps. There's always something to buy or find.
