4l80e behind my 355

Thinking of getting a 4l80e and sticking it between my 355.

I think it will bolt right up. but what about my transfercase and the electronics?

need info, i think this would be a sick swap!!

What are your current trans and t-case?

th400 and 208 casee.. Turbo 400 needs rebuild but i really want over drive. 86 k20 4.10 gears

not sure regarding t-case, but electronics can be done using early computer and harness from diesel trucks (91-93 i believe). They had a stand alone transmission controller. There are also couple of aftermarket computers for them as well.

I put a 4l80/205 in my crew cab with a vortec 383
I am running the 96 computer to control my fuel injection and 4l80

I put a speed sensor in my 205 tail shaft for the output speed
