I am doing an LS swap in my K5 using an 04 LM7 and 4L60E out of a 2wd donor vehicle (all matching parts)
Following the pinout chart on LT1swap I have chased several wires back to the transmission range switch. The remaining wires are, I believe for the PRND cluster indicator, and hot and ground wires. I am not using the factory cluster, this will be emissions deleted and using a vss signal from the transfer case adapter (advanced adapters)
Is the transmission range plug necessary or can i continue by removing all the wires?
