455 olds swap

I won't even talk about it anymore. So sick that I had the motor, trans, mounts and all, and never got to it. Got hurting for cash and had to sell it all. It's one of my dreams too.

Done it twice

It's a fantastic combo, im using the Buick 455 in my 1980 gmc heavy half. (ex diesel)
Bought the only 3 455 motors I could find within 3 states. Just finished swapping the old worn out 455 for a fresh rebuilt one and she is driving like a bat out of hell.
#1 is a first gen 1970
#2 is a late 1972 with a 1973 code stamp,(the current power plant In the truck.
#3 is a mid year 1973
Always looking for more if anyone is selling .

Ya, I was just thinking about this after seeing a cheap 455 in CL....
I ALLLLMOST bought a '79 Z-28 with a 455 in it , a long time ago. I know what fun 500 lb/ft is!

And I'm. STILL. feenin for that swap.
