454 intake manifold removal - heavy?

Hey all, I found an edelbrock 3761 for a decent price, I'm about ready to start this swap and repair. I noticed the 3761 doesn't have a temp sensor for the ecm in it like the stock intake manifold.

I think I'll put it in the extra unused water pump port with one of these:

Any reason anyone can think of that it shouldn't be done?
