Good used heads from a running 454 that had lower end noises. Engine ran smooth and did not smoke. They are the garden variety peanut port heads for MarkIV engines. $100, picked up in Madison County Ohio. I seriously doubt shipping them would be worthwhile.

Nope. They came off of the engine from my '90 454 SS. I simply installed a genV 454 that I had ready to go, with the matching peanut port heads (although shaved) in place of the 454 with toasted bearings. I figure I'll hang onto the short block to build a stroker engine with aluminum heads, likely Trick Flow stuff. But I don't currently have a use for the heads off of the '90 454.

Was curious as I am looking for a cheaper decent aluminium head set up to get eventually as replacement for vortec gen 6 heads. But will be a long while before that gets going.
