I misjudged cutting my springs a coil and a half! Lol. I think since it WAS a 6cyl truck and now has a 350 it was a bit much.she is on the bumpstops! Anybody with more experience with these trucks that can tell me what springs to get? 2" drop?

I'm told a C20 spring with 1 coil cut is good for 2" and keeping a good ride.

I guess I'm lost at what you're trying to accomplish, you cut your current springs too far? How do you intend to fix that without new springs?

Took the words out of my mouth :)

My other question is why do you feel like you've gone too far down? Due to personal taste or because you're low enough now you've got rubbing?

Like i said,i don't care to buy new springs. I want to make sure i get the right ones. I actually want it a little higher in the front than it is now. I don't want to remove the bumpstops in fear it will just set on the control arms. So i have CPP 2" drop spindles in it,so do i do a 1" drop spring or a 3"? See my dilemma?

Ummm...2" drop coils. Order a set and be sure to specify engine size and the amount of drop you want. I had 2 inch McGaughy coils in mine prior to bagging it this year.

Yeah, it was questions I was asking the other fella :D I think he's sitting just right and should NOT go back up any at all and keep it right where it's at but that's just personal preference. And if he was going up a little because of rubbing or what not that stuff can be fixed.

What is your drop end goal, what number are you trying to hit?

The ground
Not sure about the op...but I am there (the ground that is) lmao.

As far as a static drop , my preference would be 3 front 5 back for driveability. I bagged mine for adjustability.

Well..not intentionally. He has a nice truck too. I think I see bags in the future for him and me fabbing his bridge and welding in his four link.
That’s awsome I poke him as motivation lol
