3M Chrome body moldings

I am wanting to purchase the Chrome body side moldings that go on 85 Silverado pick up, from LMC the pre-cut moldings has anyone use them I was wondering how good they stick has anyone had any problems with them?

I've got the black with chrome edges ones on my Scottsdale. I used 3M adhesive promoter pads to prime the area before installing, and they have held up well.

Does the Adhesive Promoter come with the moldings?
