Value Van, as in a cube van? The actual vans had narrower springs than trucks. 2.25 wide instead of 2.5 inches.

Ah, a cube van.

Just measure the springs. Measure the width and the length along the arc, from eye to eye. Also measure the distance from the front eye to the center pin. They might be the same as truck springs. I'd replace both sides.

You mean from mounting bolt center to mounting bolt center or from very back of eye to very front of eye?

Depends on the measurements :)

If they are 56" springs and the center pin is offset to the front by 4 inches, they are like the heavy duty springs used on squarebodies.

I took a quick look at G35 springs on Rock Auto, and it looks like they interchange with only G30 and G35 trucks.

You can look up the spring for your G35 truck, then click on the part number and it will list all vehicles and years that use that spring.

It's not a G van though. Iirc, those cube/step vans were built off a variation of the P chassis.

No theres 2 different versions. As i was told the p is a passenger van (smaller) and the the g was the cube and work style vans. Had this issue when looking for break hoses.

I think you are backwards in your thought. G was passenger and the P series was the work type. The P was what all the motor homes were built on that we serviced from the Chevrolet dealership where I worked

The van vans are G vans. As in, the ones that got tricked out in the 70's and were the basis of the cushy conversion vans in the 80's.

The step/cube vans were a variation of the P30 chassis often used for Winnebagos and such. They were produced for many years.
