I seen on Facebook someone was going to try to install it into a 79
It looks like it's a bit big for the bay
But if it could fit I wouldn't mind seeing and getting tips due to everyone doing cummins swaps (irritating) I'd like something different

If i remember right, the 3208 is what i was looking at putting in a short stepside, But then i read that they were way underpowered for the weight of the engine.
Just so you know.

Nearly 1700 pounds for the smallest one. Also read that 4.5 mpg is the average fuel consumption.

Ive always wanted to do a Detroit 6v71 swap into a CCLB dually. Iirc the injectors are an issue in the 3208.

I wanted to put Dual 6" stacks and turn up the pump. Make a little big rig out of a Square Short stepside street-rod.

That's sweet metal tech thanks
Man it's a tight fit for sure
It may not fit with my brake booster and cylinder assembly
I'll definitely be talking to a couple of the teachers here on campus about it
And this won't be the first place that don't like my sarcasm lol

take a minute to look at those Detroit 4-53 swaps. That engine is almost the same size as a Cummins 6BT/ISB (Dodge truck). Trying to find something to make your truck unique is a job in itself. I wish you luck no matter what you choose to do.
