2in lift with 33 or 4in with 35s

I thought the 700r4 1st was a 3.06 and the t350 like 2.52 or something

Is the internet wrong again!!??
The TH350's gear ratios are as follows: 2.52:1 for first gear, 1.52:1 for second gear, and 1:1 for third gear. The 700R4's gear ratios are 3.06:1 for first gear, 1.62:1 for second gear, 1:1 for third gear, and 0.70:1 for fourth gear.

I was coming from a place of only considering the 4l80 as a viable swap. The 700r4 is uncharted territory for me.

Mine has a 2” lift with 33’s and it’ll still fit in a standard garage opening. I didn’t need to do anything with the drive shafts but I did upgrade to a dual Shock steering stabilizer because it felt loose driving after the lift and tires were installed.
4” and 35s should fit std 7’ door as well. My truck is 4” with 315-75-16 half wore out that actually sit about 33” tall and it fits thru a 7’ door with a couple inches to spare.

Personally I’d go 4” and either tire size will look bad ass on it.
I think 4” is about the Practical limit without driveshaft length and rotating the axle(s). But icbw.
Mine is just springs, shocks and a drop steering arm. Blocks (yuck) and shocks in back. Idk want the advantage is in an offset drag link vs steering arm to account for the lift but my old truck drives surprisingly well.
Steering is a little vague but 35 year old gearbox, rag joint, old mud tires (aired down soft) and possibly in inoperable steering stabilizer, it tracks straight, no bump steer and is 1 finger on the wheel on the freeway.

If you want 33x10.5 then you don't need a lift (that's what I have), 33x12.5 you need a 2" unless you want to do a little trimming. I guess it depends on you though. When I was younger I had a 6-7" lift and 40's. Now I'm thinking 2" and 35's.

I have a 4" lift and a 2" body lift. My 84 K30 has 37" Toyo MT tires and Fuel 20" rims. I also have a aftermarket rear end that has a 410 ratio with the 14 bolt conversion and disc brakes. Mine is a very smooth ride and looks great also.

Probably a 31gal Suburban tank. The 40's don't fit from what I've been told.
