Good morning, or whatever it is when you see this.

Long story short, I am restoring my grandfathers 83 C10, after it sat from 98 when he passed, to 3 months ago when I finally got given to go ahead to grab it.

My mother was the biggest fan of seeing this truck get back on the road, and sadly we lost mom on Christmas Eve.

I REALLY want to take the old girl to mother’s funeral, but it needs an exhaust manifold. Someone tried to replace the gasket at some point in the 90s and shattered it.

I know these heads are junk, and I have acquired a head and manifolds to change over to a regular setup, but I wont be able to get that completed in time.

Does anyone on here have an intact manifold laying around they are willing to sell and ship to GA?

I keep hoping I’ll come across one on eBay, but all I ever find is one barrel manifolds.

Thanks.

Good luck with that. Everytime I would see one on a site it was gone before I could click it. I ended up changing the heads and exhaust manifold and have been much happier. Have done this on two trucks. a 79 Chevy and an 81 GMC. Ended up o the GMC swapping the original 6 for a different one and now I dropped a rebuilt 327 in.

When I replaced my '81 250 exhaust manifold one year ago it had large cracks into 4 places.

I searched for a long time before locating a good unit at the French Lake wrecking yard in Minnesota.
Cost $250 shipped to Montana and my engine is working fine now. Had it locally sandblasted and painted it with very high temp silver.

Good luck with your search, I know how discouraging it can be.....
