I have found a bumper for sale off a 2006 Silverado will it fit my 1985 Silverado?

Not just gonna bolt up. Some fab will be required(probably a lot).

I went through everything relevant to your question. You can find a ton of squares sitting on newer frames, but they all have stock to the cab/body, or off road bumpers.

Just google square body on newer body style frame, and iterations of that.

The way the bumpers mount are 100% completely different. They are also curved more than a squarebody bumper.

I wouldn't say it can't be done, because it certainly could, but it would look very awkward. In my opinion anyway.
