This was my dad's truck, and it has to go because I already have too many projects (2 OBS trucks and an older one). It served us well but I no longer have time or money to fix it.
Has the LQ4 6.0, iron block and aluminum heads, 4L65E, AWD with 3.73 gears. Engine has 205K on it, ran great when warmed up (has common LS low oil pressure on startup issue, probably the screen on the sending unit is clogged). Bigger issue is the transmission fluid temperature sensor is bad, and will put the truck in limp mode even if it's just sitting in Park in the driveway.
Interior is in great shape except for the carpet needs a good cleaning and the driver's side second row seat won't fold up(something broken in the linkage/cable?). Two tone leather seats are VERY nice, and heated seats work great. Had ice cold AC the last time it was run, and the Bose system works wonderfully.
Body needs paint(Texas sun is not kind to vehicles sitting outside), driver's front fender is damaged and a couple other "old man" scrapes.
With some time and funds this could be made into the great truck it was again; I just can't do it.
Looking for $2500, would go less. It needs a new home soon, and the wrecking yards won't give me much for it(so I'd rather not go that route). The suburb of Houston that it's at, in front of my shop building, is very "old car" unfriendly and is making my life difficult over this one and my Suburban.
