Had to post pics of this - friend of mine I have known since kindergarten hit his head real hard and became enamored with me building a SB. He wanted something a tad newer so picked himself up a 2003 2500HD and decided to rebuild it completely. New cab corners, bed, frame blasted and painted, 5 spd trans rebuilt - new crate 6.0L, custom hood, newer mirrors, custom leather interior......and then to maintain his affection for 80s styling, a 2 tone paint job (he says he's also seen this in Canadian market brochures). Truck was a very vivid blue (he called it crayon blue - which is accurate). New colors are 2024 - Arctic Blue and Polar White. A few graphics and custom emblems.....pretty slick IMO.
He says once its broke in, a supercharger is in its future. Lots of $$$ but still a fraction of the new ones. Sounds bad-arse.
