Well I could not find a decent square in my budget, so I ended up with a 95... I have a decent amount planned for it. The truck is extremely clean frame and floor wise for it being a 26yr old Michigan truck. it has 181k on it with a 350/4L60E combo. I don't actually plan on getting rid of the truck so i will be "Resto-Modding it as I go. It is Factory LT Quazar Blue Met(20U) paint, and will be getting repainted the same color. Gray Interior as well as bucket seats not a bench(A95) and the D55 center console. This will be a slow build as it is cold as balls here currently.

Pretty good looking truck! Last of the good (decent) looking chevy trucks imho. I had a 90' 1500 in that body style i loved. My 94' burban was also the same body style. I miss both trucks!

Our newest vehicle is a 1995 Suburban.
Nice choice of the body style.

I had to look up those traction bars, haven't seen or heard of them yet. Looks like they function similar to Cal-Tracs?

In Michigan, I would advise against vortec heads with any wet manifold style injection ie a carb, sniper or any other tbi style injection. Fuel will fall out of suspension and pool. Look at the ProFlo4. It’s mpfi so the manifold only flows air.

yeah they are very similar in design and function.

@Frankenchevy, I will look into the ProFlo4. the truck once it is built wont see the weather it is currently out in. the wifes car is in the garage so the truck is outside.

It only made my truck behave poorly when outside air temps were below 35 or so. I was getting MAT readings in the teens.

truck wont be driven in that cold of temps once the work is done. with it being 2wd i dont want to risk an accident in it when i have my 4x4 Jeep.

so i updated my list a bit as well the tires i had were "too tall" for the amount of drop. and i went wider on the rear wheels as well with a 17x10 and a 305/45/17 rear and 225/60/17 front. I will be ordering the fuel pump, tune up stuff, alternator(140A), belt and the front brakes(pads and rotors) in the next few days.
