thanks, i've been watching some videos on youtube. some of these guys have complete step by step videos on the th350. i'm fairly certain between the help i've received here and those videos i'll be able to get it sorted. thought it would be much more of a process before watching. big thanks to all of you for your patience and knowledge. if i have any further issues during the prosecc, ill probably make a new post. Much appreciated! i've also taken note of the Sonnax HD outer sprag race. thanks for that too! i'll shop around right now!

If you can build an engine, you can do a TH350. With the possibile exception of a Chrysler 727 or 904 transmission, it’s probably the easiest to work on.

Work slowly, work cleanly, don’t force anything, check your clearances, and air check each assembly as you go.

hey Nick,
I may have kind of similar problem. Just put in new engine and while it was out, I drained the transmission put in a new filter and gasket, front seal, rear seal, etc.

Engine is back in, transmission and driveshaft are in, and did First start today. When moving it outside the shop it seems like it’s either stuck in gear or stuck in park. Tried to push it in neutral without the engine running just to get it out of the shop and wouldn’t go. The shift linkage goes through all the gears without problem, but it’s clearly stuck somewhere. Eventually just gave up, dropped the driveshaft and pushed it where I needed it to be.

What should I check?
