If I convert a 85 long bed to short bed, I am thinking All I need is DS shortened and the brake line
for a short bed truck. So is it really only 2 things I need?

I know the cut measurements and everything else. Just looking for what needs to be replaced so I can order the hard parts. DS would be the last thing to get cut. Thanks

I will be doing a 1985 silverado build, and a DETAILED (because no one has done it) video on how to shorten a 73/87 C10 on my youtube channel.

Depending on what fuel tank (16 vs 20 gal) your truck has you may need a 16 gal fuel tank or 2 if it is double tanked.

Might be cheaper in the long run to just find a SB frame? I see them advertised all the time. ;)

Probably not cheaper. For some reason people like to charge out the @$$ for those no matter what shape they are in.

Even new from an auto parts store it's probably only $200 for what's needed. Head to a junk yard and it's more like $20.
