The only issue I would see is that you will probably need a VSS setup for the ECM in which case its just a matter of finding a 241 from an 89-92 700r4/4L60 or an 88 and then find the VSS tail housing from any 241 and swap out tail shafts. The 88s are mechanical speedo's

Th400/4L80e use 32 splines and 6 bolt adapter to the transmission

700R4/4L60e use 27 splines and 4 bolt adapter to the transmission

Later SM465 use 32 splines but use an adapter unique to the SM465

All 208s and 241s use the same bolt pattern to mount the adapter to the transfer case

208s and 241s are essentially the same as far as adapting to transmissions and adapters. They are different internally and use different tail housings. How ever there are no differences when it comes to installation of the rear or front drive shafts. And the shift linkage is essentially the same for both

208s never came equipped with VSS only 241s from 89 on did.

update

Ok here is a little up date on the k10 project. I have a l33 5.3 with a4l60e. I used the dingo mounts.which work good.but can't use the stock 5.3 ac compressor.I used the advance adapters for mating the trans to the transfer case.was very nice set up. Has reluctor wheel for the vss to be used. Just a little pricey for the kit. Currently working on the fuel system. I have dual tanks on this truck. I am putting a walbrow inline fuel pump just past the fuel tank selector. I'm using a corvette fuel filter .it has a built in regulator and return. My big question is finding a good return back to the tank .I checked at the selector and nothing seems to go back freely.must have a check valve on the vent. Anyone have any suggestions??
