1984 short box suspension lift 4" or 6"

I'm looking to do a suspension lift on my 84 GMC but I'm undecided on 4" or 6" also the truck is a high Sierra and I'm wondering if the 4" would even have much of an effect, I'm already running on 33's. Looking for your input/ experiences to help me make my decision, thanks!

I run a 4" on my 85 Sierra Classic with 35x12.50-17 with lots of room to spare.

The only thing to be concerned about with more than 4"; and your running a 208 transfer case' is the slip joint, I found a 241c for my 85 and now have a slip joint eliminator. The 208 slip joint will be your weakest point and cause you problems.

Right on that's the set up I was looking at going with, I just want to make sure the 4" actually brings it up noticeably different

Im mainly afraid of putting the time and money into the 4" and not seeing much of a difference where as I know the 6" would be more work to prevent issues but a big difference in return. Just can't decide on a ride height
