Recently picked up a strong running short bed GMC out here in West Texas. Since the existing 350/TH350 runs good, I will start from the ground up and replace suspension bushings, springs, probably get pieces powder coated, also upgrade exterior trim pieces and interior. Just got new tires put on it last week. I found the receipt from previous tires (replaced in 2002). Also found that cassette tape in the glove box! Good tunes!
Guy before me threw the Chevy grille on. I can't find an inner grille with GMC anywhere so I'll probably go with Billet style eventually. Evidently the Chevy/GMC grilles are interchangeable so perhaps putting one on without a logo would also work.
Still researching the LS engine route as an option down the road! Oh and definitely need to get both* wheels turning in the rear. I look forward to reading through posts on here and learning as much as I can in the process.
Thank you all in advance!
