Last I looked (several years ago), they only sold a plain fender for the left side, not one available with the gas door.

You can section in a donor gas door housing to a new fender, or you can convert the truck to a passenger side fuel tank. It's actually not that difficult of a process and you can use your current tank, brackets and sender.

Hopefully they didn't use the Ford fuel filler, stepside fuel fillers are not being re-popped, and can be hard to find.

I'm surprised that no one makes one. It appears LMC has one, but it isn't pictured but there is a listing for it.

What's different from fleetside and stepside parts? I just found a stepside with fenders and no filler pipe but have the fuel door. I have the filler pipe from fleetside bed will it work?

I have an 81 stepside...i do not think the filler hose is interchangeable with the fleet side. the bends and length are different I think.

I had to source a complete bed from a donor.

So is it the same filler pipe that bolts to the door housing the same and different rubber hoses?

The filler pipe that bolts to the housing... I don't know if the original factory parts were different or not, but my stepside bed of unknown origin came with filler pipe parts that looked to be the same as my '84 fleetside bed that I had removed. It was the fully enclosed housing type, not the earlier style that had a couple bolt tabs on the pipe.

I think they carry the hose but not the pipe. I have the early style, and it is defiantly different from the fleetside.

Now keep in mind these are all fleetside fillers, but the style on the right is what's being used on my stepside. I just cobbled together a rubber hose.

Do you still need help? I have a stepside(short) box trailer with a filler hole on it not sure what fender. And I also have gas tanks from like 5 squares, most have their filler. I can look at them and find. Is the short stepside the same saddle tank as the fleetside? If so, I may have some, at the very least, references. I also have beds with recessed fillers, doors, and etc. Soo I can snap photos.

Thanks. I think I will just craft up parts from my fleetside to make it work on stepside .
