1981 C30 Dually

Hello everyone. Your typical noob here and I just wanted to join this site in order to gain some knowledge about these square bodies.

So here’s the skinny on my truck. I own a 1981 Chevrolet Silverado C30 Crew Cab Dually. 7.4L 454 CID 4 w/ NV4500 5 spd. It originally came with a 4 speed, but at some point during previous ownership the 4 speed was replaced with a NV4500 5 speed transmission.

Thanks. It seems to be in really good shape and everything works, except for the dual tanks. It might just be the aux switch, but I haven’t had enough time to play with it.

Yes sir. speaking of tach, I’m actually ordering a replacement tach because the one on the truck is stuck at 2500 rpm. Lol
