1981 1/2 ton front 6 inch lift springs

I just purchased a 81 half ton 4x4. My question is it has a 6 inch lift springs that seem short. It is using aftermarket cheap shackle lift also. Can anyone tell me the eye to eye spring measurement of 6 inch front lift springs. These seam short to me but seems to have correct shocks pitman arm and sway bar extensions.

If they seem short
Like short enough to make the shackle vertical
They may be lifted with a single leaf inserted in the pack
Is there a leaf that looks different ?

If you are considering new springs
I highly recommend Alcan

Mine had an unknown brand four inch lift and I ordered all new springs from Alcan and installed rancho RS9000 shocks and it rides SO much better

The length is going to vary based on the brand.

Is it the front springs seem short? The shackle angle needs to be less than ideal, so the spring eye doesn't contact the frame when the spring is compressed.

If it helps, the shackle should be vertical.
