Damn, actual track use skinnies too. Are you going to run those on the street?
It will get some track use, may not be this year, we are coming into rainy season here in the northwest so might have to wait for spring.

I got this tall scoop a couple years ago and never got around to putting it on, it would allow me to use a taller filter but I really don't like the way it fits.

Does someone offer those, or is that a one-off piece?

I had to body work the crap out of this hood. It was worth it in the end though. I have never seen a scoop like you have. Kinda like cowl induction on my '80 but taller.

Man, I like that. I have a BBC in my '72 and 355 SBC in my '80. The T has the hair-dryer 6 and will have the other 2 in the rearview quick!

I like the T and prefer the 72! (Over the 80)

I think most of us would prefer the 70-72 over the later years as well lol

You may be correct, but there's oddballs like me that actually prefer the '78-'81. In the looks department anyway. There's no denying the lack of power compared to the early 70's lol.

So I learned a early 90s jeep cherokee steering shaft fits 88-94 gm trucks so I put one in my 92 gmc, then I got to looking at the shaft in the camaro and it looks very similar so I got another jeep shaft and sure enough it fits the camaro as well. I bet the jeep steering shaft will work in our squares as well so if you want to ditch the rag joint and go to a double u joint shaft on the cheep, it's worth looking into.

What did you do to let it telescope? I can't really tell in the pictures, but it looks like you didn't melt the plastic liner out of it?

And yeah, those things fit a whole mess of GM vehicles.
