Anyone know where I can obtain dye for the 80 Oyster White? My K10 has a somewhat rare color combination with the Carmine Red/Oyster White color combo.

Also has anyone seen door speaker housings like this before? It looks stock but I have never seen them before.

Besides being uncommon, it's rare to see an original interior in that kind of condition too!

Those door speakers are original, they were optional for the '80 model year only.

most paint shops can make custom dye. maybe you can pull a speaker cover and have them match it to the spot under where it hasnt faded.

I like the interior colors you have even though im not much for red

What’s amazing is it’s lived in ND it’s whole life. I’m the 4th owner. Original owner until 04, second owner until 07, and I purchased it last year.

it may be rare in a truck but I've got a 79 corvette and a 79 trans am now both have oyster.

Point is try some camaro places or firebird or even vette they will have the oyster dye. I didn't find any, local, anything close to the stock color, and I didn't feel like paying almost $20 a can for dye when I needed a good bit and not a huge fan of the color anyways, so we color changed lol.

Looks good in the truck.

Thanks Swims350! I’ve seen it on a Vette forum, is just thought I’d ask here. I’ve never been a big fan of the whole interior being Carmine Red, but the combination actually looks pretty cool.

I just want to update the door panels as they are showing some wear. Thanks for everyone’s help!

Beautiful!:)
My 80 Sub has those speakers- because of that, no map pockets.
I keep thinking I will install some from LMC.

My door panels are nowhere near that nice, though ...
