1978 Silverado 4x4 custom?

What’s up guys? I just purchased a 1978 Silverado 4x4. Is there a way to find out if the options it has are factory? It’s a Silverado with power windows and locks but has a 4spd manual trans. I did a vin breakdown but it didn’t have enough information.

Just FYI my only plan is to sell the truck after I make it run and wash it, but I would love to be able to list it with some sort of value able information.

Is there a SPID label inside the glovebox door ?
that will list the factory options

That's a good looking high optioned truck it seems. Inside of the glovebox door should have a sheet(called an SPID sheet) with the list of factory options and corresponding RPO codes. Post a pic of that and people can tell you what it came with from the factory. It is sometimes also located on the inside of the fender well in the engine bay, although not usually on the earlier years.

Sweet! I’ll check that out. Yeah it’s a cool truck for sure. Little rust but really solid compared to some I’ve seen.

I’m hoping clean and at least running will bring $5k or more……fingers crossed of course.

I honestly have no idea, I literally bought it to sell it. It had no title so I let it sit for the 2 months it took to get a title before I touched it. I don’t know if it’s a conversion or what.

It has a 4speed manual (SM465), but the SPID sheet says it came with an Automatic and cruise control.... hmmm

The dash pad and gauge bezel are from an earlier year, '75 or '76 I believe. Woodgrain was used '73-'77, but the grain changed in '75 and then again for '77.
