Hi there I'm a 1977 chevy step side all restored with a inline six 250,t5 trans,
Use to go on 67 72 truck site don't think they like square bodies much I could be wrong.

I think that engine/tranny would be absolutely perfect with a turbo. You still get great gas mileage with low boost and cruising condition with a power on demand feeling when you need it.

Yup, especially with the heated intake manifold from being over the exhaust. could probably pull around 30 MPG with a light foot and 3to 5 psi constant boost, and a dual jet carb.

I pulled Mine out of a s10 not sure of mpg the t5 is so fun to drive with six I have a heavy foot . I'm in process of redoing motor all clifford parts. Head, cam, intake and exhaust Waiting on exhaust to come back from clifford.
