i have a 1975 chevy c20 , 350 engine, the previous owner had done away with fuel selector valve, so im putting a new one back on it, i also replaced the sending units in both tank, the wire that runs from selectoe valve has a wire that goes to fuel gauge, where is the wire that goes to fuel gauge ,? im sure its the pink wire on back of the instrument cluster but where do i hook the wire from the sending unit to that pink wire? i have a toggle switch to switch tanks( which came with the selector valve) two wires on selector valve goes to tanks, one wire to each tank, two wires run to toggle switch and the other wire runs to fuel gauge, do i splice it into the pink wire on instrument cluster that goes to gauge or what? the toggle switch also has a place for hot wire to fuse panel and ground wire, which i have hooked up, i may be just over thinking it but i can not figure out which wire i hook the wire for gauge from selector valve at, please help me ,
