1973 K5 Blazer. I have purchase two cable lead into the windshield adapters from LMC and neither of them will snap on to the windshield. I purchased them at different times hoping for a different result but unfortunately they do not work. The snap size is a bit smaller than the usual snap size. I was going to try and find a button that would fit the snap. Then I could solid a wire to it. I could also abandoned the in windshield antenna and install something else below the dash even though I think it would be cool to keep the oem antenna. Looking to see if anyone has any ideas what I can do?

Came up with my own solution. Windshield button is a 1/4" button. Cannibalize the cable lead into the windshield adapter. Removed the button that was on the adapter and replaced it with a 1/4" button I found at OSH.
