Took ten years, but got the ol' girl in the shop and getting ready to see if it will run. New brakes, rebuilt new 235 six, 4 speed granny low trans. Interior is a mess, but there is a 260 six in there, along with new parts, and old parts. Hope to get it running and sell it to finance other projects. This truck came from Alaska, lumber jacks used it for a saw truck, had a little wood stove, lots of rust, but still very cool. It has been down the Alcan before it was paved twice, up once. Then it hauled band equipment for a few years, then sat for at least thirty outside. A few pics. Have a young fella named Dell helping me. He wants to learn, doesn't even know the difference between a 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive socket, so start from scratch. I will teach him to weld, some machine work, and mechanical, he is a sponge, and gratifying to teach someone so eager to learn. Plus, he's big and strong, yarded those IH heads right out, I helped.
