I'm thinking about getting some new 15x10 US Mag Indys for my '77 K15. 4" BDS lift, 35x12.50 tires are being used. These seem to only be available with 3.5" of backspacing. Does anybody know if that will work OK?

They will rub unless you trim the lower fenders some.

Looks like I can get them in 15x9 with 4.5" BS... would that be any better?

Yes, definitely. Depending on your driving habits and truck usage, there's still a good chance they are going to rub. If it's just street use and depending on the specific tire, you may get away with it.

This is 35s 9” wide 3.5 bs.
Literally in between your 2 choices you mentioned.
5” of lift and it’s barely daily driveable without rubbing.

I forgot to state, I used to run the same BDS 4" springs, but with a 16x8" wheel with 4.25" (I think) backspace and 305/70/16's. They measured a true 33". With very hard use, they would contact the rear, lower corner of the fenders.

With street driving and a "35" that really measures around 34", you may be fine. Maybe possibly need to trim an unnoticeable amount from the lower fender flange.
