Well I know that Chevy started to make the back shorter than the front for better steering.
Im just trying to find out which one I have because 1 ton axles were not shorter so The 14 bolt bible will help thanks.
One ton cab and chassis had the backing plate right against the springs. It's a chore to get in to bleed the brakes on them. Single wheel ones had ample room to get in there to bleed brakes.
