Anyone know where I can find a condenser replacement that uses 134 refrigerant for an 85? I think it’s supposed to be 27” across. Looks like this is a part that is not in stock in a lot of places.

To my knowledge the condenser is fine you just need a clean, non damaged one?
Clean as in internals flushed

If you're converting, the biggest thing is getting all the old ester oil out, putting in PAG and changing the o-rings to 134 compatible.

Usually involves swapping out the drier and flushing the compressor. Everything else stays the same.

I got mine at Napa a few years ago. It definitely narrower than OEM due to the revised design. NRC NC3642A shows sold out for ship to home, but Oreilly's appears to have a Murray Brand available Part 7-3642. $121.

Hard to tell here, but the new one does not cover the full radiator opening like the OEM style. If you look behind the engine oil cooler on the driver's side, you can see the gap.

What’s the best way to make sure absolutely everything is flushed out before switching to 134?

Just because I didn't know the prior history of my truck and the system sat open for at least 10 years, I replaced everything.
