Anyone know where i can find a used 12 bolt rear end that will fit a 86 C10 two wheel drive in central Florida?

What's wrong with your 10 bolt?

The truck version of the 12 bolt is very equal in strength to the 8.5" 10 bolt axle.

Hello, it has 2.73 gears, I want to get limited slip differential with 3.55 or 3.73. And was thinking I could get a complete rear end from a newer truck and swap it!

If your in market to swap one from newer truck I'd recommend 2014 amd newer chevy/gmc it has 3.73 gears, auto locker, disc brakes and best of all a 9.75 ring gear. It's way stronger than the 8.5 10 bolt.

You'd need to move spring and shock hangers but that's not a huge task
