I thought my triple green was bad, but your white vinyl sounds worse. I used to see a green with tan interior Impala around my home regularly too (not long ago either). It was definitely a fugly combination.

Green with tan would be better. It opens up your color options for a repaint, lol.

I would call Wentworth and see what they would give you for the Baron. http://www.wentworthaircraft.com/

Did you say there was an issue with the 210 logbooks? I don’t remember our back and forth on that one.

The logbooks are fine, but it hasn't been inspected in several years. The registration is still valid, but it's still in my dad's name. The big issue with it was with how the whole prop strike ordeal relative to the engine was handled. No rebuild by TCM - just a crank dial.

I’m wondering if you could do a bumper tuck ala Chip Foose style? I know the bumpers are bolted to those shock absorbing thingies but a talented guy like yourself should be able to whip up some new mounts and give the car a unique look.

The early e30 crowd would attempt to drive the car into a wall to collapse bumper shock absorbers and get a tucked look. I think a tuck would look real nice on that caprice.

My mom had a 2 door with the funky back window. Black and grey with maroon interior. I loved that car. Was thinking of buying one befor I got the V10 to put my engine in. I was quickly slapped back to reality. Those things are pricey even relatively ****** ones.

He also has an 84 with a 4.8l t56 410 swap and a moon roof big enough to hang out of from the back seat.

I had a green/green '78 Bonneville but it had a white vinyl top on it, which I promptly peeled off as soon as I got it home. It ended up with a set of Firebird wheels, black primer "paint job" and a dark brown interior from an '83 Caprice.
So ( I was gonna quote that post and got distracted. It must of stayed in the reply box. Lol)

Drilling a hole in the shock absorber works too and a tack to hold it in place. All bmws need smashed into a wall though.

You guys are making me regret not trading. When I was getting rid of a 1987 maybe it was 77 Caprice with a 350 .060 over, Straights with a H pipe, and NOS set up.

Hmm, never thought of the tack idea, that sounds pretty straight forward and less risky than using a wall lol

Not all are bad to look at. E30 coupes, E34 Coupes, E46 with a widebody kit. I wouldnt mind owning either of the first 2 and putting an LS engine in it. The last one is too modern and electronic but still easy on the eyes.
