May be beating a dead horse here, but any source for clutch rod inner/outer floor boots?
Looks like Classic Industries has some. Maybe a bit of a universal and seems a bit spendy but it would plug the hole!- SS1019

Weird Electrical Problem
I would start with double checking all of the grounds. Most "weird" electrical gremlins have turned out to be ground related. It sounds like you had pulled the engine. There is a braided ground wire that goes from the firewall to the back of the right side cylinder head. Make sure that is tight...- SS1019

Show me your lowered truck. The lower the better!
The fronts are 245/60R15. I was hoping to stay with the 8" rallies on the front. If I need to change the tire/wheel size I will look at options. Not a big fan of most of the aftermarket wheels.- SS1019

approximately 2.5 x 4 drop. Just tried adding 2.5" drop spindles with same springs and ended up with 2" ground clearance, nope. Stock length springs on their way. C notch/flip kit next.- SS1019

installing drop spindle
I just installed 2 1/2" dropped spindles on my 78 C10. McGaughys spindles, no interference with the 15x8 rallies on the front. Had to remove the wheel weights from the inside rim and replace them with stick on tape weights in the center of the wheels was the only issue.- SS1019
