I have a rear a/c unit I salvaged from a previous burb It had barn doors and a rear spoiler. The bottom of the barn doors rotted. Water came in the hinge holes. Water came in the holes that mounted the spoiler. I am amazed mine is in the good shape it's in. It has no spoiler. Going out of town... -

4 Inch Lift kits
I just bought 4" springs from BDS for the rear of my suburban. The rear sags enough new, let alone on near 40 y.o. springs. Love to go with the ORD custom springs, but I can't justify the cost on this truck. I'll post pics when I get them on. Edit: this auto correct makes me look like a retard...- Big Ray

Here's the specs from the guy I bought them from. I lost my turbo manifold in a move. Try as I may I've not been able to locate one, so I'm getting rid of my diesel stuff. They are still wrapped, I've never used them. It's a ran DB-2 military pump and injectors. $300 each for the pump or... -

Dad's 87 R10 with 305, th350c had 2.73 in it. His 86 K5, 305, 700r5 had 3.08. He always bought the ones no one else bought. He just didn't know better didn't either at the time, I was off doing the Harley thing. -

Air them down, they'll be fine. Had wranglers on my jeep in the 80s. Learned about airing down and about lockers AFTER burying it to the frame. Lol I was a kid, didn't know all these things yet.- Big Ray

305 SBC vs 6.2 Detroit: Which would you rather?
I've had both. Imho, the 6.2 has a certain "cool" factor, such as it is. Back before US 17 was 4 laned, I've almost killed myself with a R10 with a 305 and 2.73 gears. No ass for passing. None. Zero.
