I let the 70 bird and 71 camaro go today. The cars will be built in ways I would never have been able to afford.
Im happy with the outcome. Now I can focus on only 2 cars. The 80 Z and the second is a surprise for all of you!!!

It might not be much longer and I'll have to let my 80 go to a new home. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's a couple years ago and my tremors are primarily in my left leg so one of these days I may not be able to control the clutch anymore.

Helping a friend of mine has 80 Z, bought it new, building a 427 small block. Dart block, AFR heads, T&D shaft mount rockers 1.7 ratio, Scat rotating assm., Wiseco 12.5:1 pistons....all the good stuff. Helping with the heads IE rocker setup. I am going down there when he fires it up, will take a video. 'Posed to be around 700hp.

Those heavy door bring back memories.

I'd be surprised if the door harness was not wired for electric locks and you could add them with new panels, if you wanted to.
If you own a dog, it will lock you out at the grocery store.
(Several times a year).

It is very clean, really. Gut the upholstery and wash the vents with vinegar.
The rear fender skirts are cool too. Might want to blend them into the fenders?
I think they sell rear skirts to max out the tire width of fat rubber, if you want them.

Camero Central just emailed me they are having a huge New Years Sale! $$$$
You can dump your wallet this week and make it mint.

You gotta love the days when the driver had absolute control over the heater and the A/C.
