what weather-stripping did you use? I used some from Steele rubber without issue. were the doors aligned without sag before?- Holl

3 Point Seat Belts ‘76 C10
I am very happy with Seat Belt Planet out of OK. Their customer service was very good, took a return without an issue and were knowledgeable. If you get the OEM set and want to change the color, I they do that also. -

Wheel choices for 4x4
...this raises a question I've had. I have a 6 lug 16" factory steel wheel that fits over the front hub on my 4x4 suburban...Ive never been able to find 3 others. Id like to use factory hubcaps for this type of look. there are plenty of 15" wheels, or 8 lug wheels but I've never found 16" 6... -

Seat Belt Question
Cant say enough good things about SeatBelt Planet. bought a front seat set for my 87 suburban. Then ordered a second set for second seat, and I screwed up the order. When called to return them, they took them back...no questions asked. Then a few days later I had a call to clarify what I needed. -

not finding any source for new glass. Are the 1976-91 removable tops interchangeable between all years? Are the side windows interchangeable between years?- Holl

I'm looking at a 85 blazer that needs glass. Is there a source for the back windows (side windows not rear window)? how about for the sliding rear windows? or are those something you have to find in a salvage yard?- Holl

hood alignment
i dont think its resting on the air cleaner...its stock, the truck has a 1" body lift and there isnt any rub marks on the hood insulation. I will lube everything -

Thanks, But I have these type of hinges...Mine is made of 84/87 parts..... I have a 84 shop manual and couldnt find alignment for the hood.... -

how do you align the hood on a 84 suburban? the hood is higher than the fenders and cowl at the rear of the hood. -

change Speedometer
I have a 4x4 '87 suburban with 350TBI, 700r4 transmission and a NP 208 transfer case. At 65 MPH (from GPS) the speedometer reads about 56 MPH. ….reading on the web, it looks as if there are different colored gears that go into the transfer case. So do I pull the cable out from the TC and see...- Holl
