I'm looking at a 85 blazer that needs glass. Is there a source for the back windows (side windows not rear window)?
how about for the sliding rear windows? or are those something you have to find in a salvage yard?

The factory sliding windows you have to locate used. And often the wing window is missing. The standard glass may be available new? Not sure really. Iirc, the two different windows use a different rubber seal to the fiberglass top.

not finding any source for new glass. Are the 1976-91 removable tops interchangeable between all years? Are the side windows interchangeable between years?

Yes. Really the only difference is the rear shoulder straps used in the last few years of production.

Have you gone to any glass shops? Or just searched the internet? I highly doubt a glass shop couldn't find a standard set.

A company named CR Lawrence has a full tinted replacement available pt# MSS808. Not sure of price and I know they require an account to purchase from. They are a glazing supply company out here in California. I'm not 100% on them as they are listed for blazer/jimmy but they show a pic of a suburban. However, I don't know of any suburban with rear sliders.

They have made rear slider windows for trucks for a long time. They even used to offer a power slider.

There used to be an aftermarket slider window for Burbs, it must have been them that made it. As far as I know, it's long out of production. Couldn't say about a K5 model.
