    I've always used 7lbs per gallon as my weight for fuel if not exact,close enough. I would not upgrade springs just for a fuel tank it probably won't be full most if the time anyway. More than likely why you are adding a gas tank,so you don't have to stop for fuel as often.

    Reverse light options

    Use a spring loaded pull type switch hook it to the 1st reverse shift lever at the transmission. Use something flexible like fishing line as your pull wire so it doesn't bind when you go to 1st.

    Pull the rubber hose at each end leave the rubber attached to the suspect line,put a bolt in rubber hose as a stopper squirt everything with dish soap and water hit the other rubber hose with some air pressure. Look for bubbles. Just blow some air in it,don't clamp the compressor hose to it.
