    Power Steering Squeel

I had a similar problem on my k10 diesel when i got it. A PO had put a PS pump with an AC double pulley on it with a non AC crank pulley as the truck is non AC.. They require totally different belts with different angles. I was looking in Rockauto at specs for the pulleys and belts when I...

Surface rust. What are the best practices?

You should install the hood reinforcement brackets before it gets damaged. I don't care how much lube you put on the hinges. Once it bends it's too late.

    Jack ideas?

For $50 you can buy a 12 volt inflater with sealant to get you home and deal with it later. Rollbacks are usually about $120 in my experience. I carry no jacks or spares is any of my trucks. This scenario has become common in new vehicles as well.

2.5” exhaust kit for 85 suburban?

You can buy the 2 1/2" pipes pre bent for over the axle and out the side on the net. I would suggest a local muffler shop for the engine to the mufflers. Don't waste your time or money on a crossover or H pipe, they produce minimal performance gains.

Want to build a good horsepower, good fuel economy engine for a 1978 c20 with stock 350. I don't know much and need help.

I've had a couple of short c`10's. AL intake, long tube hedders, q`jet, RV cam, 6cyl gears. Always good power and 10 mpg. Nobody builds a squarebody for mileage. Find a corolla or civic for mileage.

    Spray vs Plastic Bedliner

Why not just pressure wash it, prime and paint the bed like when it was new? Unless you are doing a high end build this would be the cheapest and easiest route. Scuffs and scratches would just be a badge of honor. This way you can keep an eye on the condition of the metal in the bed.
