Wiper motor Assy 74 C10
The early style wiper motors are rare. You can use the 78 - 84 wiper motor with pump. You need the wiper motor arm and the matching wiper switch. The wiper linkage is the same 73 - 80. Welcome from Austria. You should be able to find bed parts on junkyards if you have a lot of time for searching. Or get the AMD parts. They are pricey but you save time and money on prep work on the old parts.- ali_c20

Engine mount, old or new?
Rubber ages and with 40 years it's pretty dead. I had to replace the engine mounts on all old vehicles I owned. Some were terrible worn some not too bad but still dead. I replace them with polyurethane inserts. I used the Summit brand and they are not much stiffer as the rubber versions...- ali_c20

Switching to dumbo mirrors
Threaded rivets are ok. Don't use stainless as the sheet metal that is contact with them will rust very quick ( galvanic corrosion). Use standard ones with zinc plating. LMC AC controller has too many detents
I have an original AC controller in my 79 K5 and I think there is a detent between vent and heat. Not 100% sure, I will check and report.- ali_c20

Rebuilt Stock Steering Column or Aftermarket?
I would go for the original rebuild one. I ordered a tilt column (Ididit) for my C20 when there was a -150$ on orders over 1000$ at summit. Original column is shot and non tilt. It's great quality and sitting on the shelf waiting for installation. But I still would use the original rebuild...- ali_c20
